Week of 4/20/20

This week in Algebra 1… April 20, 2020

LCPS is requiring core classes to use a program called "Edmentum." We will begin learning via Edmentum starting this week. You can access Edmentum through your LCPS Go account. Do not hesitate to email your teacher if you have any questions.

Fear not… your teachers have been working hard to help guide you through this online course. We will continue to post a HYPERDOC each Monday on Google Classroom with a weekly agenda to guide you through a specific module in Edmentum.

The April 20th hyperdoc can be found here: Week of April 20 Hyperdoc

We have broken down the modules into daily lessons. If you prefer to keep an A/B schedule you may complete two lessons in one day. We have simply a suggested daily pacing guide to help you work through the modules in a timely, manageable manner. You can save and return to a module at any time.

After each module you complete, we are asking you to complete an exit ticket in the form of a Google Form. These will be linked in your hyperdoc. You may be asked to complete a math problem… we recommend getting familiar with the Equatio extension on Chrome, which will allow you to type math into anything in the Google for education suite of apps (Docs, Slides, Forms, etc.). This is not required, but may be useful.

If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to your teacher. Our office hours are located here, in Google Classroom, under the ‘Classwork’ tab, under the ‘Office Hours’ topic. Outside of these hours, we will do our best to respond to emails within 24 hours.

We know school seems confusing and stressful right now, but always remember your health and safety are a top priority right now. Take care of yourself and your family. We miss you all!
